Full-Spectrum CBD Oil Background
Most of the CBD oils you’re likely to encounter on the market today can be boiled down into two main categories; full-spectrum CBD, and CBD isolate. CBD isolates are composed almost entirely of CBD oil, and devoid of any other cannadinoids. Full-Spectrum CBD oils, on the other hand, are oils that extract additional, beneficial cannabinoids and terpenes from the hemp plant. One full-spectrum compound, for example, is CBG (cannabigerol). CBG is known for it’s anti-bacterial effects as well as its ability to reduce inflammation.
When choosing the best CBD oils on the market you’re going to want to find a Full-Spectrum CBD oil. When measuring the health benefits of the CBD oils, those that contain more of the roughly 113 known cannabinoids seem to have the best results for users. This is due to the way the cannabinoids in the oil interacts with each other creating what the industry has dubbed “The Entourage Effect“.
Through our own personal testing when developing our products our team unequivocally agrees that full-spectrum CBD oils perform better than any of the CBD isolates that we’ve encountered. While more a more in-depth and exacting process is required for extraction of full-spectrum oils, the benefits are far worth the effort.
The Entourage Effect?
This increasingly well known term is as fitting as it is accurate. The term “entourage” as it pertains to the compounds found in full-spectrum CBD oil relates to how all of the cannabinoids contained in your CBD oil work in harmony with each other. While not fully understood as to “how” these cannabinoids are interacting, it’s widely accepted that providing additional cannabinoids to CBD oil drastically increases the oils effectiveness.
We will continue to share more about the Entourage Effect in future content and posts as well. Please make sure you sign up to be keep abreast of our most recent news and to be notified as our products and offerings are updated.
